Kathy and I spent the day at Limantour Beach in Point Reyes. We had never taken Chatter to the beach before and she went absolutely crazy in the water. It was as if nothing existed but her and the waves. In all my years as a Marinite, I have never experienced a more perfect day in West Marin.

Chatter is having a sleep over at Dad's house on Saturday. I already have a huge bag of her food, (which should last 10 years!) and her designer dog supplements. (You have to use a pin to poke a hole in the gel pill and squirt it down her throat everyday!) She will be sleeping on a soft comforter given to me by Jennie and Nick a long time ago. When I'm out to dinner that evening, I'm going to play the movie "Ole Yeller" for her. It's her fave....
